About Me

I am a Mental Health and Marriage & Family Therapist with experience in individual, couples, family and group therapy, as well as office interpersonal dynamics and professional development.

In 2005 I graduated with a Masters of Science from Fuller's School of Psychology, where I specialized in family systems and the impact of culture, spirituality/philosophy and gender on identity formation and emotional well-being. Prior to that I also pursued a Masters in Business, and I spent eight years in the corporate healthcare field working with Human Resources, Management and Clinicians on training, clinical continuing education and professional development.

I am committed to working as a collaborative, interactive therapist, providing support and practical feedback to help clients work through their personal and professional challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach for each client. In addition to my professional work, I volunteered with the YWCA's SafeChoice program for five years and serving clients recovering from domestic abuse continues to be a primary focus for me.

On a personal level, I enjoy injecting humor into my daily life and take every opportunity to embrace my inner nerd. As a former "Army brat" I took to travel early and continue to explore the world. I have lived on both the East and West Coasts of America, as well as in Germany and China. My fondest memories are of the time I spent backpacking across Europe. I fell in love with the Northwest after a sojourn in Seattle and decided to make the Vancouver/Portland area my permanent home. My dog, Zoe, and I settled in and are happily taking full advantage of the local coffee culture, natural wonders, and four seasons.
